The Huawei Mate 9 Pro is just a bit better than Moto G9 Play, getting a 78.7 score against 76.7. Both of these devices come with Android OS (operating system), but Huawei Mate 9 Pro has the newer 8.0 Oreo version and Moto G9 Play has Android 10 version, providing the user lots of additional features. Motorola Moto G9 Play has a quite bigger storage for applications and games than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 512 GB. Motorola Moto G9 Play has greater battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
The Moto G9 Play features a superior camera than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video quality, the Moto G9 Play also has a way larger aperture to capture better photography in low light situations, a camera with a way higher 48 mega pixels resolution, a much bigger sensor providing a way higher image quality and better 60 fps video frame rates.
