The Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a global score of 78.7, which is just a bit better than Moto G9 Power's 78.6 overall score. Both of these phones come with Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei Mate 9 Pro has the newer 8.0 Oreo version and Moto G9 Power has Android 10, so it offers a couple nice extra features. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro construction is thinner and incredibly lighter than the Moto G9 Power, although it was released many years before.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with just a little better hardware performance than Moto G9 Power, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro also has a larger amount of RAM. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a way better looking screen than Moto G9 Power, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and a lot better pixel density.
The Motorola Moto G9 Power counts with a very superior memory capacity for games and applications than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Motorola Moto G9 Power also has a SD card slot that admits up to 512 GB. Motorola Moto G9 Power takes better pictures and videos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the Motorola Moto G9 Power also has a back-facing camera with a way higher resolution, faster 60 fps video frame rate and a larger aperture to take better low light photography and videos.
The Moto G9 Power features a much longer battery life than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a 50% larger battery capacity.
