Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a global score of 78.7, which is a little bit better than Motorola Moto Z3's global score of 77.6. Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a better cellphone than the Motorola Moto Z3, we must tell that it is also an older, a little heavier and a bit thicker cellphone. These devices come with Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei Mate 9 Pro has 8.0 Oreo version while Motorola Moto Z3 has Android 9.0 Pie.
The Motorola Moto Z3 counts with a processor that's very similar to the Huawei Mate 9 Pro one, and although the Motorola Moto Z3 has a lower amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores. Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a slightly better display than Moto Z3, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2560 and a greater pixels density.
The Moto Z3 and Huawei Mate 9 Pro have similar cameras, and although the Moto Z3 has a larger aperture to take better images in poorly lited environments, they both have a same size sensor, the same video frame rate, a back facing camera with a 12 MP resolution and the same 3840x2160 video quality.
The Motorola Moto Z3 has a much greater storage capacity to install applications and games than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD memory slot that holds up to 1,95 TB. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro has greater battery performance than Moto Z3, because it has a 33 percent larger battery capacity.
Although Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more than Motorola Moto Z3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Motorola Moto Z3. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Huawei Mate 9 Pro, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Motorola Moto Z3, giving up some specifications.
