Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a little bit better than Motorola Moto Z3 Play, with a overall score of 78.7 against 76.3. Although the Huawei Mate 9 Pro is better than the Motorola Moto Z3 Play, we must highlight that it's also older, just a little bit thicker and just a little heavier. Huawei Mate 9 Pro has just a little better processing power than Motorola Moto Z3 Play, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro also has a larger amount of RAM.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a slightly better looking display than Moto Z3 Play, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2560 resolution and a higher pixel number in each inch of screen. Motorola Moto Z3 Play has a much greater storage capacity to install games and applications than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro features better battery duration than Motorola Moto Z3 Play, because it has a 33% greater battery capacity. The Motorola Moto Z3 Play has a slightly better camera than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same resolution back camera, the same (4K) video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Motorola Moto Z3 Play also has a bigger camera sensor providing a better image quality and a way bigger diafragm aperture.
Although Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Motorola Moto Z3 Play, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Motorola Moto Z3 Play. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Huawei Mate 9 Pro, else you can save some money and get the Motorola Moto Z3 Play, giving up a couple specs and features.
