Comparison review
Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a little bit better than nubia Red Magic 3S, with a score of 78.7 against 75.8. Even though the Huawei Mate 9 Pro is way older than the nubia Red Magic 3S, it's construction is lighter and a lot thinner. These phones work with Android OS, but the Huawei Mate 9 Pro has 8.0 Oreo version and nubia Red Magic 3S has Android 9.0 Pie version.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a little bit better screen than nubia Red Magic 3S, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a higher pixels amount in each inch in the display and a better resolution of 1440 x 2560. The nubia Red Magic 3S features just a little better hardware performance than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same number of cores, the nubia Red Magic 3S also has a higher amount of RAM.
The nubia Red Magic 3S shoots much better photos and videos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a much larger camera aperture to take better low light images, a much better 7680x4320 video resolution, a lot larger sensor providing a lot better image quality and a back-facing camera with a lot higher 48 mega pixels resolution.
Nubia Red Magic 3S has a very superior storage for applications and games than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has 256 GB internal storage. The nubia Red Magic 3S features greater battery duration than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
Although Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a better device, it costs more than the nubia Red Magic 3S, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as nubia Red Magic 3S. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Huawei Mate 9 Pro, else you can save some money and buy the nubia Red Magic 3S, giving up some specifications.
