The Huawei Mate 9 Pro is just a bit better than Galaxy A21, with a 78.7 score against 76.1. Even though Huawei Mate 9 Pro is much older than Galaxy A21, it's construction is just a little bit thinner and somewhat lighter. Both of these phones come with Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei Mate 9 Pro has 8.0 Oreo version and Galaxy A21 has Android 10, providing you some extra features.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy A21, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much better resolution of 1440 x 2560px and a much greater pixels number per display inch. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a bit more storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A21, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with more internal storage.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy A21, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro also has 3 GB more RAM memory. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro takes a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy A21, because although it has a back-facing camera with way less MP and a smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for capturing pictures and/or video in low light environments, it also counts with a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a bigger sensor providing a higher image quality.
The Samsung Galaxy A21's battery life is very similar to the battery lifetime in Huawei Mate 9 Pro.
Although Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy A21, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy A21. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Huawei Mate 9 Pro, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy A21, letting go some specifications.
