Comparison review
Huawei Mate 9 Pro is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy A70, having a global score of 78.7 against 76.9. These phones work with Android OS (operating system), but Huawei Mate 9 Pro has the newer 8.0 Oreo version and Samsung Galaxy A70 has Android 10 version. Huawei Mate 9 Pro is an notably older phone than the Samsung Galaxy A70, but Huawei was able to make it just a little bit lighter and just a bit thinner anyway.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a little sharper display than Samsung Galaxy A70, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a higher display density and a higher 1440 x 2560 resolution. The Galaxy A70 counts with a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy A70 also has a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 512 GB.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with just a bit better performance than Galaxy A70. Both of them have 6 GB of RAM memory and a Octa-Core processing unit. Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a much better camera than Galaxy A70, although it has a smaller camera sensor which offers a lower photo and video quality and a way tinier aperture which is not favorable for low-light photography and videos, they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same video frame rate.
The Samsung Galaxy A70 counts with a bit superior battery life than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a 13 percent more battery size.
Although Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy A70, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy A70. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy the Galaxy A70, letting go a couple features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
