Comparison review
The Galaxy A71 has a score of 87.5, which is better than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro's 78.7 score. The Galaxy A71 construction has the same thickness than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, but it is a bit heavier. Both phones in our current comparison include Android operating system, but Galaxy A71 has an older 11 version and Huawei Mate 9 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a little bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy A71. They have 6 GB of RAM memory and the same number of cores. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a little sharper display than Samsung Galaxy A71, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 and a greater count of pixels per inch in the screen.
The Samsung Galaxy A71 takes way better pictures and videos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy A71 also has a way bigger camera sensor which gives a much better image and video quality, a larger aperture to capture better low-light photography and video and a much better 64 megapixels resolution back facing camera.
Galaxy A71 has a much better memory capacity to store more apps and games than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage, the Galaxy A71 also has a SD extension slot that supports up to 512 GB. The Galaxy A71 has just a bit longer battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.
Despite of being the best phone of the ones in this comparison, the Galaxy A71 is also by far the cheapest, making this phone an obvious call.
