Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has a global score of 81.2, which is slightly better than Huawei Mate 9 Pro's general score of 78.7. Samsung Galaxy Note 3's construction is a little bit lighter than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, but it is just a bit thicker and was released many years before. Both phones we are comparing here include Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has the previous 5.0 version while Huawei Mate 9 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a bit more powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM and a larger number of cores (and also faster). Galaxy Note 3 has a little bit better looking display than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has a way worse resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a lot lower pixels quantity per inch in the display, it also counts with a quite larger display.
