Huawei Mate 9 Pro is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy S23, having a score of 78.7 against 77.9. Both of these phones include Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a newer 8.0 Oreo version while Samsung Galaxy S23 has Android 13 version. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a a lot heavier phone than the Samsung Galaxy S23, but both are 0.3inches thick.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a really superior processing power than Galaxy S23, although it has less RAM, they both have the same number of cores. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a much better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy S23, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per display inch and a better resolution of 1440 x 2560px.
The Galaxy S23 and Huawei Mate 9 Pro have extremely similar memory for apps and games, both have equal internal storage capacity. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a bit superior battery performance than Galaxy S23, because it has a 3 percent larger battery size. Galaxy S23 shoots a little bit better videos and photos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a bigger camera aperture to capture better low light images, a lot more megapixels back facing camera and a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor which offers a way higher photo and video quality.
