Comparison review

Galaxy S4 is slightly better than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro, with a 79 score against 78.7. Both phones in our current comparison include Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy S4 has an older 4.4 version while Huawei Mate 9 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo. Galaxy S4 is a notably older and just a bit thicker phone than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro, but Samsung managed to make it noticeably lighter anyway.

The Huawei Mate 9 Pro features just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy S4, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with a greater number of cores and a greater amount of RAM. Galaxy S4 has a bit sharper display than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, although it has a bit smaller display, a bit lower number of pixels per inch of display and a much lower 1920 x 1080 resolution.

Huawei Mate 9 Pro captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy S4, because although it has a back facing camera with lesser megapixels resolution, and they both have a F2.2 aperture, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro also counts with a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a larger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.

Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a slightly bigger memory to install games and applications than Galaxy S4, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a way better battery performance than Galaxy S4, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2600mAh.

Galaxy S4 not only is the best phones of the ones we are comparing here, but it's also a bargain compared to the other phones.
