Comparison review
Galaxy S6 Active has a score of 80.9, which is slightly better than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro's 78.7 general score. Both phones in this review use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy S6 Active has the previous 5.0 version and Huawei Mate 9 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo. The Galaxy S6 Active body is a lot lighter but thicker than Huawei Mate 9 Pro.
The Galaxy S6 Active features a more vivid screen than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have the same 2560 x 1440 resolution, the Galaxy S6 Active also counts with a bit greater pixels density. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a very superior memory for applications and games than Galaxy S6 Active, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity.
The Galaxy S6 Active counts with a bit better hardware performance than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has 3 GB less RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S6 Active also counts with an additional graphics processing unit and a 64 bits CPU. Huawei Mate 9 Pro shoots much clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for low-light photography and video, a worse video resolution, a tinier sensor capturing worse quality photographs and a lot worse 12 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro has just a bit better battery life than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, because it has a 14% more battery capacity.
Even being the best phone of the ones we are comparing, the Galaxy S6 Active is also a bargain compared to others, making it a great choice.
