Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 Edge is just a bit better than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, with a score of 85.7 against 78.7. These phones use Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy S6 Edge has the older 5.0 version and Huawei Mate 9 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo. Even though Galaxy S6 Edge is older than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, it's construction is just a little thinner and way lighter.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a little bit better performance than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with an additional graphics co-processor and a 64-bit CPU. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a more vivid display than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have the same exact 2560 x 1440px resolution, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a little higher number of pixels per screen inch.
Galaxy S6 Edge's storage capacity to install games and applications is very similar to Huawei Mate 9 Pro's one, both have exactly the same internal storage capacity. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a way better battery lifetime than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 54% larger battery size. Huawei Mate 9 Pro takes much better photographs and videos than Galaxy S6 Edge, although it has a lot lower 12 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera, a lower 3840x2160 video quality, a tinier aperture which is not recommended for taking photographs in low-light environments and a smaller camera sensor.
The Galaxy S6 Edge costs more than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
