Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S8 Active is a little bit better than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro, with an 81.9 score against 78.7. Despite being the best we compare here, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active body is somewhat heavier and much thicker than Huawei Mate 9 Pro. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 Active counts with a little bit better looking display than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a quite larger screen, a little bit higher resolution of 1440 x 2960px and a quite higher pixel count per screen inch. The Galaxy S8 Active features a bit more storage for games and applications than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 256 GB.
Galaxy S8 Active features a slightly better camera than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the same video frame rates and a 12 mega pixels back-facing camera, the Galaxy S8 Active also has a lot bigger aperture to take better low light captures and a bigger sensor which gives a better image and video quality.
Samsung Galaxy S8 Active features a battery performance that is very similar to the Huawei Mate 9 Pro one.
Despite of being the best phone of the ones we compare here, the Galaxy S8 Active is also a bargain compared to the other ones, which makes this phone a no doubt choice.
