Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a score of 80.1, which is slightly better than Huawei Mate 9 Pro's overall score of 78.7. Although Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro is much newer than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, it's notably heavier and a lot thicker. These phones use the same Android 8.0 Oreo OS. Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with a slightly better looking screen than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have the same 1440 x 2560px resolution, the Galaxy XCover FieldPro also counts with a little better pixels quantity in each inch in the screen.
Galaxy XCover FieldPro has more storage to store more games and applications than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB. The Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with a little better processing power than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have 8 CPU cores.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro takes better photos and videos than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a way tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for low light photos and video and a tinier camera sensor capturing worse quality photos, and they both have the same resolution back facing camera, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro also counts with a way better video resolution.
The Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a bit better battery life than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a 13% larger battery size.
Although Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a better device, it is way more expensive than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Huawei Mate 9 Pro. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy Huawei Mate 9 Pro, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your money.
