Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a bit better than the Xperia 10 II, having a 78.7 score against 78.5. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro is an a lot older and heavier cellphone than the Xperia 10 II, but Huawei made it just a little bit thinner anyway. Both phones we are comparing here come with Android OS, but Huawei Mate 9 Pro has newer 8.0 Oreo version and Xperia 10 II has Android 10, providing the user a lot of extra features.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a little bit better looking screen than Xperia 10 II, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a little bit higher resolution of 1440 x 2560px and a little better pixel density. Huawei Mate 9 Pro has just a little better performance than Sony Xperia 10 II, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro captures slightly better photographs and videos than Xperia 10 II, although it has a tinier sensor giving a worse image quality and a smaller aperture which is not so good for low-light photography, they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the same resolution back-facing camera and the same video frame rate.
Xperia 10 II features a lot bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Xperia 10 II also has an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 1000 GB. Huawei Mate 9 Pro features just a bit better battery life than Xperia 10 II, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3600mAh.
