Sony Xperia 5 II is much better than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, having an 87.2 score against 78.7. Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a bit more vivid display than Xperia 5 II, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch of screen and a slightly better resolution of 1440 x 2560px. Xperia 5 II's battery duration is just as good as the Huawei Mate 9 Pro one.
Xperia 5 II is a bit more expensive than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
