Comparison review
Xiaomi 12 has a general score of 78.8, which is a little bit better than Huawei Mate 9 Pro's 78.7 global score. Both phones we compare here come with Android operating system, but Xiaomi 12 has older 12 version and Huawei Mate 9 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo. Even though Xiaomi 12 is noticeably newer than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro, it is a little bit thicker and a bit heavier.
Xiaomi 12 features a slightly better looking display than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has a bit lower 1080 x 2400 resolution and a little bit less pixels per display inch, it also counts with a quite larger display. Xiaomi 12's storage capacity for apps and games is just as good as the Huawei Mate 9 Pro one, both of them have equal 128 GB internal storage capacity.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a very superior processing unit than Xiaomi 12, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. Xiaomi 12 features just a little better battery life than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a 4500mAh battery size instead of 4000mAh.
The Xiaomi 12 takes way better videos and photos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a bigger aperture for better photography and video in low light situations, a lot better video quality, a much larger sensor providing a lot better image quality and a way more mega-pixels back-facing camera.
