Comparison review
Xiaomi Black Shark 2 is a little bit better than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, getting an 82.3 score against 78.7. These devices use Android OS (Operating System), but the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 has the previous 10 version while Huawei Mate 9 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo. Xiaomi Black Shark 2's body is a lot newer, but heavier and thicker than Huawei Mate 9 Pro.
Xiaomi Black Shark 2 features a little faster CPU than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have 8 cores, the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 also has a higher amount of RAM memory. Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a little more vivid display than Xiaomi Black Shark 2, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher display density and a higher 1440 x 2560 resolution.
Xiaomi Black Shark 2 counts with a much better camera than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 also has a larger diafragm aperture for better photos and video in poorly lited situations, a way bigger back camera sensor providing a much better image quality and a way better resolution camera in the back.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 and Huawei Mate 9 Pro have incredibly similar memory capacity for apps and games, both of them have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity. Xiaomi Black Shark 2's battery life is just as good as the battery life in Huawei Mate 9 Pro.
