Comparison review
The Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro has a score of 78.7, which is slightly better than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro's 78.7 general score. Even though Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro is much newer than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro, it's somewhat thicker and extremely heavier. Both of these phones work with Android operating system, but the Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro has the older 12 version while Huawei Mate 9 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a better display than Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher number of pixels per display inch and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560. The Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro features a much greater memory capacity to install applications and games than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has more internal memory.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a lot better processing power than Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. The Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro takes a lot better videos and photos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has a tinier back-facing camera sensor which gives a lower image and video quality, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro also counts with a larger camera aperture to take better images and videos in low-light situations, faster 60 fps video frame rate and a lot higher 108 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera.
