Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a general score of 78.7, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite's global score of 77.7. Huawei Mate 9 Pro's design has the same thickness and weight than the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite. Both phones in our current comparison come with Android OS, but the Huawei Mate 9 Pro has the previous 8.0 Oreo version and Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has Android 8.1 Oreo version.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a higher pixels number per screen inch and a better resolution of 1440 x 2560. Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite. They have 6 GB of RAM memory and a Octa-Core CPU.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate, the same video resolution and a same resolution camera, the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite also has a bigger aperture and a larger camera sensor shooting better quality videos and photos.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite's memory to store more apps and games is just as good as the Huawei Mate 9 Pro one, both of them have equal 128 GB internal storage capacity. Huawei Mate 9 Pro features greater battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because it has a 19% greater battery size.
