Xiaomi Mi 9T has a score of 82.2, which is just a bit better than Huawei Mate 9 Pro's overall score of 78.7. Even though the Xiaomi Mi 9T is notably newer than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, it is heavier and thicker. Both of these devices have Android operating system, but Xiaomi Mi 9T has an older 10 version and Huawei Mate 9 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo version.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a bit faster processing unit than Xiaomi Mi 9T. Both have the same RAM amount and the same number of cores. Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a little sharper display than Xiaomi Mi 9T, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher pixels quantity in each inch in the screen and a higher 1440 x 2560 resolution.

Xiaomi Mi 9T's battery performance is just as good as the battery duration in Huawei Mate 9 Pro. The Xiaomi Mi 9T takes much clearer pictures and videos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Mi 9T also has a much larger back camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors, a bigger camera aperture to capture better captures in low-light situations and a back facing camera with much more mega-pixels.
