Comparison review
Huawei Mate 9 Pro is slightly better than Xiaomi Mi Max, with a 78.7 score against 77.5. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro body has the same thickness than Xiaomi Mi Max, but it's somewhat lighter. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much greater screen density and a better resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a bit faster CPU than Xiaomi Mi Max, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro also has a higher amount of RAM. The Xiaomi Mi Max features a way bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Xiaomi Mi Max also has a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 256 GB.
Xiaomi Mi Max counts with better battery life than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a 21% bigger battery size.
