Comparison review
Huawei Mate 9 Pro is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi MIX, getting a 78.7 score against 76.2. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro design is somewhat lighter and a little bit thinner than Xiaomi Mi MIX, although they were released only a couple of months apart. Both of these phones have Android OS (operating system), but Huawei Mate 9 Pro has 8.0 Oreo version while Xiaomi Mi MIX has Android 6.0 Marshmallow, providing some additional features and enhanced performance.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a bit more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2560px and a greater pixels count in each inch of screen. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a bit faster processing unit than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because it has a greater amount of RAM and more cores.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX takes a bit better photos and videos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has a tinier sensor, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Xiaomi Mi MIX also counts with a bigger aperture and a way higher 16 megapixels resolution camera in the back.
Xiaomi Mi MIX's storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos is just as good as the Huawei Mate 9 Pro one, both of them have exactly the same internal storage. Xiaomi Mi MIX counts with just a little bit longer battery performance than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has 4400mAh of battery capacity.
Although Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a better device, it is more expensive than Xiaomi Mi MIX, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Mi MIX. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get the Xiaomi Mi MIX, letting go a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your savings.
