Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha is much better than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro, getting a score of 88.9 against 78.7. These phones include Android OS (operating system), but Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has an older 10 version while Huawei Mate 9 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo version. Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha's construction is noticeably newer than Huawei Mate 9 Pro's, but it is much heavier and a lot thicker.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha counts with just a little better hardware performance than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha also has 6 GB more RAM memory. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a little bit better looking display than Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha, because although it has a lot smaller screen and a quite lower 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution, it also counts with a higher pixels quantity per inch of screen.
Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha takes much clearer photos and videos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video definition, the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha also has a much better 108 MP resolution back-facing camera, a way bigger camera sensor providing a lot higher image quality and a lot larger diafragm aperture to capture better low-light images and videos.
Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha features a much better storage capacity for apps and games than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has 384 GB more internal storage. The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha counts with a little longer battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a 1 percent greater battery capacity.
