Comparison review
Huawei Mate 9 Pro is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Poco M3, having a 78.7 score against 78.2. Huawei Mate 9 Pro's construction is way thinner and lighter than the Xiaomi Poco M3, despite of the fact that it was released 4 years before. Both of these phones have Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version and Xiaomi Poco M3 has Android 10, offering a couple nice extra features.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a bit better looking display than Xiaomi Poco M3, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 2560 resolution and a better number of pixels per inch in the display. Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a little faster CPU than Xiaomi Poco M3, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro also has 2 GB more RAM.
Xiaomi Poco M3 has more memory capacity to install games and applications than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has 0 less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB. The Xiaomi Poco M3 features a superior battery duration than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a 6000mAh battery size instead of 4000mAh.
The Xiaomi Poco M3 features a superior camera than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Xiaomi Poco M3 also has a lot bigger sensor which provides a much better photo and video quality, a camera with lot more megapixels and a bigger aperture to take better photos and videos in low-light situations.
Although Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Xiaomi Poco M3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Poco M3. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Huawei Mate 9 Pro, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Xiaomi Poco M3, resigning a couple features and specifications.
