Comparison review
Huawei Mate 9 Pro is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi 9T, having a general score of 78.7 against 78.2. Both of these phones include Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei Mate 9 Pro has the newer 8.0 Oreo version while Xiaomi Redmi 9T has Android 10 version, so it gives you a couple additional features and performance optimizations. Even though the Huawei Mate 9 Pro is notably older than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, it's body is incredibly thinner and somewhat lighter.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a bit sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher pixels amount per inch in the display and a higher 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a bit more powerful processor than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro also has more RAM memory.
The Xiaomi Redmi 9T counts with a bigger memory for apps and games than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 512 GB. Xiaomi Redmi 9T features a much better camera than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (Full HD) video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi 9T also has a much more megapixels back camera, a way larger sensor providing a lot higher image quality and a bigger diafragm aperture.
The Xiaomi Redmi 9T counts with a very superior battery duration than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a 6000mAh battery size.
