Comparison review
Huawei Mate 9 Pro is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, with a 78.7 score against 76.6. These phones have Android OS, but Huawei Mate 9 Pro has 8.0 Oreo version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has Android 10. Despite of the fact that the Huawei Mate 9 Pro is way older than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, it's construction is somewhat thinner and lighter.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a bit more vivid screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixel count per inch of display and a better 1440 x 2560 resolution. Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with just a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro also has 3 GB more RAM memory.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a bit bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has better battery performance than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a 5020mAh battery size against 4000mAh.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 captures much clearer pictures and videos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a lot larger back-facing camera sensor, a larger diafragm aperture to capture better low light images and videos and a much higher resolution camera.
Although Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Redmi Note 9. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Huawei Mate 9 Pro, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, resigning some features and specs.
