The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a score of 81.1, which is just a bit better than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro's overall score of 78.7. Both phones in this review have Android OS (operating system), but Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has 10 version and Huawei Mate 9 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo version. Although Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is noticeably newer than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, it's thicker and heavier.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro's processor is very similar to the Huawei Mate 9 Pro one, both of them have the same RAM amount and the same number of cores. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher pixel density and a higher 1440 x 2560px resolution.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro counts with a better storage to install applications and games than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 512 GB.
