Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone has a global score of 77.1, which is slightly better than the Huawei Mate 9's global score of 73.4. Even though the Asus ROG Phone is newer than Huawei Mate 9, it's just a little bit thicker and a little bit heavier. Asus ROG Phone features a bit better processor than Huawei Mate 9, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Asus ROG Phone also has more RAM.
Asus ROG Phone counts with a little more vivid screen than Huawei Mate 9, because it has a just a bit greater screen pixel density, a quite larger screen and a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2160. The Asus ROG Phone features a very superior storage for games and applications than Huawei Mate 9, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
Asus ROG Phone has a battery duration that is just as good as the Huawei Mate 9 one. The Huawei Mate 9 counts with a much better camera than Asus ROG Phone, although it has a smaller back camera sensor taking lower quality videos and pictures and a smaller aperture which is not nice for capturing pictures and/or video in low-light environments, they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same video frame rate.
