The Asus ROG Phone 8 has an overall score of 79.5, which is a bit better than the Huawei Mate 9's 73.4 score. The Asus ROG Phone 8 design is notably newer, but somewhat heavier and thicker than Huawei Mate 9. The Huawei Mate 9 features a much greater processing power than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has less RAM memory, they both have 8 cpu cores.
Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a much more vibrant screen than Huawei Mate 9, because it has a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px, a just a bit higher amount of pixels in each display inch and a bigger screen. Asus ROG Phone 8 shoots much better pictures and videos than Huawei Mate 9, because it has a back camera with way more mega-pixels, a larger diafragm aperture for better captures in poorly lited environments, a much better 7680x4320 video resolution and a lot larger back camera sensor providing a much higher image quality.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 features a much bigger memory to install games and applications than Huawei Mate 9, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 192 GB more internal memory. Asus ROG Phone 8 has a way better battery performance than Huawei Mate 9, because it has a 5500mAh battery capacity.
