Comparison review
HTC U11 has a global score of 77.6, which is slightly better than the Huawei Mate 9's score of 73.4. The HTC U11 is a lighter cellphone than Huawei Mate 9, but both are equally thin. HTC U11 features a much better looking screen than Huawei Mate 9, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a greater display pixel density and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560px.
Huawei Mate 9 and HTC U11 both have really similar CPUs, they have 8 cores and the same RAM amount. The Huawei Mate 9 features slightly more memory capacity to store more apps and games than HTC U11, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Huawei Mate 9 also has a SD memory slot that holds up to 256 GB.
HTC U11 shoots much clearer videos and photos than Huawei Mate 9, and although they both have a same resolution back facing camera, the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the HTC U11 also has a larger sensor providing a higher image quality and a much larger diafragm aperture to take better low light captures and videos.
Huawei Mate 9 features better battery lifetime than HTC U11, because it has a 33 percent bigger battery capacity.
