Comparison review
Huawei Mate 20 Pro is much better than the Huawei Mate 9, with a score of 82.9 against 73.4. Huawei Mate 20 Pro's design is newer and a little bit lighter, but also just a little bit thicker than the Huawei Mate 9. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has just a little better hardware performance than Huawei Mate 9, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also has more RAM.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a sharper display than Huawei Mate 9, because it has a lot higher resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels, a bit larger display and a higher quantity of pixels per inch in the display. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro captures a lot better photos and videos than Huawei Mate 9, and although they both have the same video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also has a larger aperture, a back camera with a much better 40 mega-pixels resolution and a much bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
The Huawei Mate 9 has a little bit better storage capacity for games and applications than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 256 GB. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro counts with a little better battery performance than Huawei Mate 9, because it has a 5 percent greater battery size.
