Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 8 is just a bit better than Huawei Mate 9, getting a score of 77.4 against 73.4. The Huawei Mate 8 is a a little lighter cellphone than Huawei Mate 9, but both are equally thin. Huawei Mate 9 features just a little better hardware performance than Huawei Mate 8. Both have the same number of cores and 4 GB of RAM memory.
The Huawei Mate 9 and the Huawei Mate 8 both have really similar displays, because although the Huawei Mate 8 has a bit lower display density, and they both have the same resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, it also counts with a bit bigger screen. Huawei Mate 8 counts with a superior camera than Huawei Mate 9, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Huawei Mate 8 also has a back-facing camera with much more MP and a larger camera aperture to capture better photography and videos in low light environments.
The Huawei Mate 8 has more storage to store more games and applications than Huawei Mate 9, because although it has an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB against 256 GB, it also counts with 64 GB more internal memory capacity.
