Huawei Mate X has an overall score of 89.4, which is way better than the Huawei Mate 9's score of 73.4. The Huawei Mate X body is noticeably newer, but way heavier and noticeably thicker than Huawei Mate 9. The Huawei Mate X features a bit better hardware performance than Huawei Mate 9, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Huawei Mate X also has 4 GB more RAM.
Huawei Mate X counts with a bit sharper display than Huawei Mate 9, because it has a much better resolution of 2200 x 2480px, a just a little more pixels per inch of display and a much larger screen. The Huawei Mate X counts with a lot bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Huawei Mate 9, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory.
The Huawei Mate X features a bit superior battery duration than Huawei Mate 9, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh. Huawei Mate X captures much better photographs and videos than Huawei Mate 9, because it has a larger aperture to take better captures in poorly lited environments, a much more mega pixels back-facing camera and a much bigger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
