Comparison review
Huawei P40 Lite has an overall score of 79.5, which is a bit better than the Huawei Mate 9's 73.4 score. The Huawei P40 Lite body is notably newer and a little bit lighter than the Huawei Mate 9's, but it's just a little thicker. Huawei Mate 9 counts with a little bit better processing power than Huawei P40 Lite, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor.
Huawei P40 Lite features a bit more vivid display than Huawei Mate 9, because it has a little bit better count of pixels in each inch of screen, a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2310px and a quite bigger screen. The Huawei P40 Lite captures way better photographs and videos than Huawei Mate 9, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the Huawei P40 Lite also has a lot better 48 MP resolution back-facing camera, a bigger aperture and a lot larger sensor shooting way higher quality photographs.
The Huawei Mate 9 has a slightly better memory capacity for games and applications than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB. Huawei P40 Lite features just a bit better battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 9, because it has a 5% more battery capacity.
