The Moto G8 Plus is a bit better than Huawei Mate 9, getting a overall score of 77.6 against 73.4. The Moto G8 Plus construction is notably newer and just a little bit lighter than the Huawei Mate 9's, but it is also somewhat thicker. Moto G8 Plus has a slightly better screen than Huawei Mate 9, because it has a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2280px, a bit larger screen and a bit more pixels per inch in the screen.
Huawei Mate 9 has a little bit better performance than Moto G8 Plus. Both have a Octa-Core processing unit and the same RAM amount. The Motorola Moto G8 Plus counts with a very superior camera than Huawei Mate 9, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same video quality, the Motorola Moto G8 Plus also has a camera with a way better resolution, a lot bigger sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a way larger aperture.
Moto G8 Plus features a little bit more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei Mate 9, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Moto G8 Plus also has a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 512 GB. Moto G8 Plus's battery performance is very similar to the battery lifetime in Huawei Mate 9.
