The Moto G9 Play has a global score of 76.7, which is just a bit better than the Huawei Mate 9's overall score of 73.4. Even though Moto G9 Play is much newer than Huawei Mate 9, it's just a little bit heavier and thicker. The Huawei Mate 9 features a little sharper display than Moto G9 Play, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher count of pixels per inch of screen and a higher 1080 x 1920 resolution.
The Moto G9 Play counts with a little bit more memory for games and applications than Huawei Mate 9, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage, the Moto G9 Play also has a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 512 GB. The Huawei Mate 9 has a bit better processor than Moto G9 Play. They have the same RAM memory amount and the same number of cores.
Motorola Moto G9 Play features superior battery life than Huawei Mate 9, because it has a 25% bigger battery capacity.
