The Galaxy J7 Max is a bit better than the Huawei Mate 9, with a general score of 76.1 against 73.4. The Galaxy J7 Max design is a bit thicker but just a bit lighter than Huawei Mate 9, and both of them were released with only a couple months difference. Huawei Mate 9 counts with just a bit better processing power than Galaxy J7 Max. Both of them have the same number of cores and 4 GB of RAM memory.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 Max features a slightly better display than Huawei Mate 9, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have an equal 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution, the Samsung Galaxy J7 Max also counts with a quite greater display pixels density. The Huawei Mate 9 has a way bigger storage to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy J7 Max, and although they both have a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB, the Huawei Mate 9 also has 64 GB internal memory.
The Huawei Mate 9 counts with better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy J7 Max, because it has a 4000mAh battery size instead of 3300mAh.
