Comparison review
The Galaxy M30 has an overall score of 82.4, which is better than the Huawei Mate 9's score of 73.4. Galaxy M30's construction is much newer and a little lighter, but also a bit thicker than Huawei Mate 9. Galaxy M30 has just a bit better screen than Huawei Mate 9, because it has a bit higher 1080 x 2280 resolution, a little greater amount of pixels in each display inch and a bit bigger display.
Galaxy M30 has a lot bigger storage for apps and games than Huawei Mate 9, because it has a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB and more internal storage. Huawei Mate 9 has a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy M30, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
Galaxy M30 has greater battery life than Huawei Mate 9, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity. Samsung Galaxy M30 captures better photographs and videos than Huawei Mate 9, because although it has a smaller back camera sensor taking less light and dull colors, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video quality and the same video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy M30 also counts with a bigger aperture to take better low-light photography and video and a more mega-pixels back camera.
