Comparison review
The Galaxy Note 3 is better than Huawei Mate 9, with an 81.2 score against 73.4. Galaxy Note 3 is a much older and just a bit thicker device than Huawei Mate 9, but Samsung could make it somewhat lighter anyway. The Huawei Mate 9 features a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with a greater number of cores and 1 GB more RAM memory.
Galaxy Note 3 has a more vivid display than Huawei Mate 9, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 1920 x 1080px resolution, the Galaxy Note 3 also counts with a little bit greater pixel density. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 shoots a lot better videos and photos than Huawei Mate 9, because although it has a smaller camera sensor taking less light and washed colors, and they both have the same (4K) video quality, the same aperture and the same video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 also counts with a camera in the back with more megapixels.
Huawei Mate 9 has a better storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Huawei Mate 9 also has a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 256 GB. Huawei Mate 9 counts with improved battery lifetime than Galaxy Note 3, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.
