Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S5 is better than the Huawei Mate 9, with a overall score of 80.8 against 73.4. Even though Samsung Galaxy S5 is incredibly older and just a little thicker than the Huawei Mate 9, it's construction is still a lot lighter. The Samsung Galaxy S5 has a much better looking screen than Huawei Mate 9, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 1920 x 1080px resolution, the Samsung Galaxy S5 also counts with a way greater pixel quantity per inch in the display.
The Huawei Mate 9 has a lot bigger memory for apps and games than Galaxy S5, because it has a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 256 GB and 64 GB internal storage. Galaxy S5 features a little faster processing unit than Huawei Mate 9, because although it has an inferior number of cores (but faster) and a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with an extra graphics processor.
Huawei Mate 9 has a much better battery lifetime than Galaxy S5, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity. The Samsung Galaxy S5 features a much better camera than Huawei Mate 9, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the same video frame rates and the same aperture, the Samsung Galaxy S5 also has a bigger back camera sensor shooting better quality pictures and a back facing camera with a much better resolution.
