The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is much better than the Huawei Mate 9, getting a score of 85.7 against 73.4. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is an older cellphone than the Huawei Mate 9, but Samsung could make it just a bit thinner and a lot lighter. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a way better screen than Huawei Mate 9, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher screen density and a better 2560 x 1440 resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge features a little bit better performance than Huawei Mate 9, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a 64-bits CPU and an extra GPU. The Huawei Mate 9 counts with just a bit bigger memory to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 256 GB.
Huawei Mate 9 has a really longer battery lifetime than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 54 percent more battery capacity. The Galaxy S6 Edge takes clearer videos and photos than Huawei Mate 9, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Galaxy S6 Edge also has a bigger back camera sensor which offers a higher photo and video quality, a lot more mega pixels back-facing camera and a larger aperture to take better images in low light environments.
