The Samsung Galaxy S7 has a global score of 79.5, which is a little bit better than the Huawei Mate 9's 73.4 general score. The Samsung Galaxy S7 design has the same thickness than Huawei Mate 9, but it is way lighter. Galaxy S7 features an incredibly better screen than Huawei Mate 9, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher display density and a better 1440 x 2560px resolution.
Huawei Mate 9 features a little faster processor than Galaxy S7, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Huawei Mate 9 also has a higher number of cores. The Huawei Mate 9 has a way bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S7, because it has 64 GB internal storage and a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 256 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 shoots much better pictures and videos than Huawei Mate 9, and although they both have a back facing camera with a 12 megapixels resolution, the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video definition, the Samsung Galaxy S7 also has a much larger camera aperture and a bigger back camera sensor providing a better image quality.
Huawei Mate 9 has superior battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S7, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
