Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S7 Active is slightly better than Huawei Mate 9, having a general score of 75.8 against 73.4. Although Samsung Galaxy S7 Active and the Huawei Mate 9 were released only 7 months apart, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active body is notably thicker but also just a little bit lighter. The Huawei Mate 9 features a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy S7 Active, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Huawei Mate 9 also has more cpu cores.
Galaxy S7 Active counts with a better screen than Huawei Mate 9, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with way more pixels per screen inch and a higher 1440 x 2560px resolution. The Galaxy S7 Active features a superior camera than Huawei Mate 9, and although they both have the same video frame rate, the same video resolution and a same resolution back facing camera, the Galaxy S7 Active also has a way larger diafragm aperture to capture better images and video in low light situations.
Huawei Mate 9 has a lot bigger storage for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, because it has 64 GB internal storage and an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB. Samsung Galaxy S7 Active's battery performance is very similar to the battery life in Huawei Mate 9.
