Samsung Galaxy S7 edge has a global score of 78.1, which is a little bit better than the Huawei Mate 9's 73.4 general score. Despite of the fact that Samsung Galaxy S7 edge is older than the Huawei Mate 9, it's body is lighter and just a bit thinner. The Huawei Mate 9 counts with a bit faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM, the Huawei Mate 9 also has a greater number of cores.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge features a bit sharper display than Huawei Mate 9, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and a better display density. Huawei Mate 9 features a way bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because it has 64 GB internal storage and a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 256 GB.
