Galaxy S8 is much better than Huawei Mate 9, getting a global score of 81.7 against 73.4. The Galaxy S8 is a lighter device than Huawei Mate 9, but they are equally thin. The Huawei Mate 9 counts with a little bit better processing power than Galaxy S8. Both have a 4 GB RAM memory and 8 processing cores.
Samsung Galaxy S8 features a better looking screen than Huawei Mate 9, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better 1440 x 2960 resolution and a much better pixels quantity per display inch. The Samsung Galaxy S8 features as much storage capacity for games and applications as Huawei Mate 9, both of them have a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 256 GB and equal internal memory capacity.
The Huawei Mate 9 has longer battery lifetime than Galaxy S8, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity. The Galaxy S8 has a much better camera than Huawei Mate 9, and although they both have the same resolution camera in the back, the same (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy S8 also has a bigger back camera sensor which offers a higher photo and video quality and a much larger diafragm aperture to take better images in poorly lited environments.
