The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 has an overall score of 90.6, which is a lot better than Huawei Mate 9's score of 73.4. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 construction is much newer and somewhat thinner, but also noticeably heavier than Huawei Mate 9.
