Comparison review
Xperia XZs has a score of 77.2, which is a little bit better than Huawei Mate 9's 73.4 score. The Xperia XZs body is somewhat lighter but a little thicker than Huawei Mate 9, and they were only released with a couple months difference. The Sony Xperia XZs features a slightly better display than Huawei Mate 9, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, the Sony Xperia XZs also counts with a little bit higher pixel quantity in each inch in the display.
Huawei Mate 9 counts with a very superior storage to store more games and applications than Xperia XZs, and although they both have an external memory slot that supports up to 256 GB, the Huawei Mate 9 also has 64 GB internal memory capacity. Huawei Mate 9 has a bit better processing power than Sony Xperia XZs, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM memory, the Huawei Mate 9 also has a larger number of cores.
Sony Xperia XZs features a much better camera than Huawei Mate 9, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Sony Xperia XZs also has a larger aperture for better low-light captures, a much larger back-facing camera sensor providing a much higher image quality and a camera in the back with a lot higher resolution.
The Huawei Mate 9 has a much better battery performance than Xperia XZs, because it has a 38% more battery capacity.
