Comparison review
The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is slightly better than Huawei Mate 9, having a global score of 79.8 against 73.4. The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium body has the same thickness than Huawei Mate 9, but it's a bit lighter. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has an incredibly better screen than Huawei Mate 9, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a much better pixels count per inch in the screen and a lot higher 3840 x 2160 resolution.
The Huawei Mate 9 has a superior memory for applications and games than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has 64 GB internal storage capacity and an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB. Xperia Z5 Premium has a processing unit that's very similar to the CPU in Huawei Mate 9, because although the Xperia Z5 Premium has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core CPU, it also counts with a graphics processor.
Xperia Z5 Premium shoots way better videos and photos than Huawei Mate 9, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Xperia Z5 Premium also has a much more mega pixels back facing camera, a bigger camera aperture and a lot larger back camera sensor providing a lot higher image quality.
Huawei Mate 9 has just a bit better battery lifetime than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.
